J.A. Happ took care of the rest throwing seven innings with four strikeouts, while allowing just four hits and one earned run.

The Cleveland Indians were on the opposite end of the near sweep as the Indians fell short of a third straight win, losing 5-4 on Thursday night.
Cleveland walked into a one-man wrecking crew as Max Kepler took Trevor Bauer yard three times and was responsible for four of the five earned runs Bauer gave up.
The Indians showed fight cutting the game to a run lead in the bottom of the ninth off a pinch hit solo home run from Oscar Mercado.
Catcher Roberto Perez also provided a solo home run in the fifth inning and a SAC Fly in the seventh.
Yankees @ Indians Runline
New York is giving Cleveland 1.5 runs in this matchup.
The Yankees haven't had an ideal start to their six-game road trip after losing two of three to the Blue Jays.
However, Cleveland have been hit or miss this season posting an even .500 record through 62 games (31-31), and that makes them tough to ride on.
New York's offense is rolling, and I would not be surprised if Gary Sanchez added a 20th home run to his AL leading total. I'll take the Yankees on Friday night because on paper they're the better team.
Take the Yankees to cover.
Yankees @ Indians Moneyline
Think the Yankees will pick up a second straight win? Betting $125 could win profit of $100.
Like Cleveland to defeat New York at home? Spending $85 would win $100 profit.
Yankees @ Indians Over/Under
The over/under for this matchup is set at 9 points.
Final score prediction:New York Yankees 4, Cleveland Indians 2
Take the under in this game.
Where the game will be won or lost
This Friday night pitching matchup features Domingo German for the Yankees and Zach Plesac for the Indians.
German has been dominant throughout the first half of the season totaling an MLB-leading nine wins (9-1) with an ERA of 3.11.
Meanwhile, Plesac is a 24-year-old rookie who is looking to find his first major league win. Plesac has pitched well enough to deserve a win after allowing just one earned run in each of his first two starts while throwing at least 5.1 innings.
These two pitchers seem set to duel it out on the hill, and I anticipate a tightly contested game that will leave both bullpens in position to decide the outcome.
Despite some recent struggles, I'll take the Yankees bullpen over Cleveland 9 out of 10 times.
