Where the game will be won or lost

Both the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors will be battling for home-court advantage in their respective playoff races when they face off on Tuesday night at Oracle Arena.

Despite the loss to the Houston Rockets on Sunday, Boston (38-26) was able to enter the week only 2 1/2 games behind the Philadelphia 76ers (40-23) in a battle for fourth place in the Eastern Conference.

The Warriors (44-19) have just a slim 1 1/2-game margin over the Denver Nuggets (42-20). Golden State will host the Nuggets on Friday night.

The Warriors and Celtics were in a battle in Boston back in January, as Golden State came away with a 115-111 victory. Six players scored 20 or more points in the game. Kevin Durant led Golden State with 33 points and Kyrie Irving had 32 points for the Celtics.

The Warriors are expected to re-sign Andrew Bogut in the near future. The center finished his season in Australia and he is interested in coming back to the NBA.

Bogut played four seasons for the Warriors, helping them win the 2015 championship.
