Lakers @ Raptors Spread
The Toronto Raptors are giving the Lakers 10 points in this basketball matchup.
I believe the Raptors will ultimately come away with the home victory, however, I believe Los Angeles will give Toronto a game and cover the 10-point spread.
Look for the Lakers to build off of their win over the Bulls, but the Raptors, who are getting ready for a run in the Eastern Conference playoffs, need to bounce back after getting upset by the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night.
Take the Lakers and the 10 points in this contest.
Lakers @ Raptors Over/Under
The over/under is set at 231 total points.
My final score prediction: Toronto Raptors 120, Los Angeles Lakers 117.
Roll with the over in this one.
Where the game will be won or lost
The Los Angeles Lakers started their five-game trip on a positive note. Now, they hope to make it two games in a row on Thursday night in Toronto.
The Lakers overcame a 20-point deficit on Tuesday night, and came away with a victory over the Bulls. The Lakers had not won a game since Feb. 27.
The Raptors, on the other hand, had a 126-101 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night and power forward Serge Ibaka was handed a three-game suspension for fighting during the game that resulted in his ejection.
Toronto also had minor injuries to point guard Kyle Lowry (ankle), shooting guard Danny Green (ankle) and forward Pascal Siakam (neck and shoulder).
The Raptors came away with victories in their first two games of the road trip. Toronto had wins over the New Orleans Pelicans and the Miami Heat.
With Ibaka suspensded, Marc Gasol will have a chance to start three straight games.
In his 12 games since joining the Raptors in a trade with the Memphis Grizzlies, he has started five times at center for Toronto.
