The lowdown

The Nuggets, on the other hand, will look to rebound after their loss on Friday night.

Malik Beasley and Monte Morris finished with 17 points each off the bench for Denver in its 122-105 loss to the Golden State Warriors.

Nikola Jokic added 16 points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals, Jamal Murray chipped in 11 points and Will Barton had five points, nine rebounds and two steals for the Nuggets.

Klay Thompson led the Warriors with 39 points, three rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block in the victory.

Timberwolves @ Nuggets Spread

The Denver Nuggets are giving the Timberwolves 8.5 points in this matchup.

I like the Nuggets to bounce back in this one. I believe Denver will rebound against a Minnesota team, which will be without Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins.

Roll with the Nuggets at home in this one.

Timberwolves @ Nuggets Over/Under

The over/under in this one is set at 227 total points.

My final score prediction: Denver Nuggets 110, Minnesota Timberwolves 99.

Take the under in this basketball game.

Where the game will be won or lost

The Nuggets will need to rebound in this one.

Denver is clinging at the top of the Western Conference, now that the Houston Rockets have won eight games in a row. The Nuggets have lost four of their last five games, including a loss at Golden State in their last matchup on Friday night.

Two of those losses came at home, the last against the New Orleans Pelicans, who were without Anthony Davis. In the game against Golden State, Denver's starters were a combined minus-95.

The Nuggets will look to rebound at home against Minnesota.

The Nuggets and Timberwolves met on the last day of the 2017-18 regular season with a playoff spot up for grabs, and the Timberwolves came away with the victory in overtime.

Minnesota is currently six games out of the last playoff spot now, but the Timberwolves will be without Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins.

The Timberwolves will rely on Taj Gibson (25 points) and Jeff Teague (20 points, 10 assists), who played well against the New York Knicks in their last game.
