For the third time this season, the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans will square off.
This time, it's for all the marbles in an AFC Wild Card showdown.
The Texans have been up and down towards the end of the regular season, but they managed to finish on a positive note by taking down the Jacksonville Jaguars, 20-3.
Houston held the Jaguars to 119 yards of offense. Offensively, quarterback Deshaun Watson and company racked up 342 total yards, however, Watson was sacked six times in the game.
In the previous two meetings with the Colts, Watson was sacked 12 times, so Houston definitely needs to run the ball effectively and tighten up its offensive line if it wants to come away with a win.
Texans running back Lamar Miller rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries in the game against the Jaguars, and he will be vital for the Texans this week against the Colts as well.
When playing at home this season, the Texans are 6-2 straight up and they are 4-4 against the spread.
Colts vs Texans Spread
The Houston Texans are giving the Colts 1.5 points in this matchup.
Is there any team hotter than the Indianapolis Colts right now? The Colts have won nine out of their last 10 games, including last week's win-and-in matchup at Tennessee, which ultimately clinched the No. 6 seed in the AFC playoffs.
I think quarterback Andrew Luck and company will continue to roll against the Texans and leave Houston with a win.
Roll with Indianapolis in this one.
Colts vs Texans Moneyline
If you're thinking about rolling with the Texans, you'd have to put out $125 to win a $100 bet.
A $100 bet on the Colts would get you winnings of $105.
I'd rather take the Colts getting the 1.5 points in this one just in case they lose by a point.
Colts vs Texans Over/Under
The over/under is set at 48 total points in this one.
My final score prediction: Indianapolis Colts 28, Houston Texans 24.
Take the over in this football game.
Where the game will be won or lost
This football game is going to come down to one man: Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck.
The Colts are entering the playoffs the hottest team in football.
They have won their last four and seven of their last eight games. That winning streak includes a 33-17 beatdown of the Tennessee Titans in Week 17 on the road.
Against the Titans, Luck completed 24-of-35 passes for 285 passing yards and three touchdowns, while only getting sacked once.
The last time the Colts beat Houston, Luck and wide receiver T.Y. Hilton embarrassed the Texans' secondary in a 24-21 road win back in Week 14. Luck threw for 399 yards, and Hilton had nine catches for 199 receiving yards.
The Colts are 3-1 against the spread in their last four road games.
Look for Luck and Hilton to once again have a monster game against the Texans on Saturday.
