Cowboys @ Rams: Elliott, Gurley clash in LA for the NFC Divisional Playoffs

Cowboys @ Rams NFL odds, spreads and predictions

The Los Angeles Rams seek their first playoff win since 2004.

Los Angeles is coming off the team's first round bye after finishing the regular season with a 13-3 record.

Last time out, the Rams took down the San Francisco 49ers 48-32 behind a big outing from quarterback Jared Goff.

Goff completed 15-of-26 passes for 199 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions.

Los Angeles played the final two games of the regular season without star running back Todd Gurley, but didn't skip a beat with CJ Anderson in the backfield.

Anderson had 23 carries for 132 yards and one touchdown; however, Gurley is expected to be good to go for Saturday's matchup with Dallas.

The Rams finished with the third best rushing offense in the NFL averaging 139.4 rypg, and had the second most points scored per game (32.9 ppg).

The lowdown

The Dallas Cowboys overcame the franchise's recent playoff woes with a 24-22 win over the Seattle Seahawks.

Dak Prescott played big for Dallas completing 22-of-33 passes for 226 passes with one touchdown and an interception, adding six carries for 29 yards and a rushing touchdown.

NFL rushing champion Ezekiel Elliott carried the ball 26 times for 137 yards and one touchdown.

Amari Cooper returned to form finishing with over 100 yards for the first time in three games totaling seven receptions for 106 yards.

The Cowboys defense was stout holding the best rushing team in the league to just 73 yards rushing.

Cowboys @ Rams Spread

The Rams are giving the Cowboys 7 points in this playoff matchup.

I expect both these defenses to rise to the occassion.

Goff and Prescott will decide this game by whoever can connect on the big plays downfield.

Los Angeles has more fire power with Brandon Cooks and Robert Woods which is why I believe they win this game.

However, take the Cowboys with the points, and a buy a point or two if possible.

Cowboys @ Rams Over/Under

The over/under is totaled at 49.5 points in this matchup.

My final score prediction: Dallas Cowboys 20, Los Angeles Rams 27

Take the under in this matchup.

Cowboys @ Rams Moneyline

Like Dallas to continue their playoff run? Betting $40 would win $100 profit.

Think Los Angeles will defend homefield? Spending $330 makes a $100 profit.

Where the game will be won or lost

This matchup will be decided in the trenches between offensive and defensive lines.

Both Dallas and Los Angeles will feature dynamic running backs in Elliott and Gurley.

The Cowboys need Leighton Vander Esch, Jaylon Smith, and DeMarcus Lawrence to stop the run as they did against Seattle and create pressure on Goff.

The Rams are up against an elite Dallas offensive line and will need NFL sack champion Aaron Donald and Ndamukong Suh to wreak havoc up the middle.
