The Chicago Bears make their first playoff appearance since 2010.
Chicago (12-4) won the franchise's first NFC North Divisional title in eight years and ended the season spoiling the Minnesota Vikings playoff hopes 24-10.
The Bears defense was stout picking up four sacks and holding the Vikings to just 195 yards of total offense.
Chicago finished the season allowing the fewest points in the NFL (17.7 ppg).
The Bears running back duo Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen controlled the tempo of the game against Minnesota totaling three combined touchdowns.
Howard had 21 carries for 109 yards and two touchdown, while Cohen rushed five times for 24 yards and a touchdown.
The defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles ended the season (9-7) and snuck into the playoffs by shutting out division rival Washington 24-0.
Quarterback Nick Foles efficiently worked his magic completing 28-of-33 passes for 221 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.
Wide receivers Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor both had five receptions and found the endzone; Jeffery went for 59 and one score while Agholor had 40 yards and two touchdowns.
Not only did Philadelphia pitch a shutout, but the team forced an interception and picked up four sacks.
The Eagles finished the season with the eighth most sacks in the NFL with 44.
Eagles vs Bears Spread
Chicago is giving Philadelphia 6.5 points in this Wild Card matchup.
The Bears are 7-1 straight up and against the spread at Soldier Field this season which should play a major factor.
Although I expect the Eagles to be competitive early on, anticipate the Chicago defense to take over down the stretch.
Take the Bears to cover.
Eagles vs Bears Over/Under
The over/under is totaled at 41.5 points.
My final score prediction: Philadelphia Eagles 17, Chicago Bears 24
Take the under in this matchup.
Eagles vs Bears Moneyline
Think Philadelphia can make some playoff magic? Betting $45 would win $100 profit.
Like Chicago to defend the homefield? Spending $260 makes a $100 profit.
Where the game will be won or lost
Defense will decide this game for both teams.
Chicago has to establish the running attack with Howard and Cohen, but that'll be easier said than done.
Philadelphia allows just 96.9 ypg on the ground which seventh best in the NFL.
Meanwhile, Chicago has the best run defense in the league allowing 80 rypg. The Bears also have the third most sacks in the NFL with 50 this season.
The Eagles have to look to get Josh Adams and Wendell Smallwood going in the running game, while also taking chances down field with Foles and Jeffery.
