Saints vs Cowboys: Brees, Saints seek 11 straight wins
Saints vs Cowboys NFL odds, spreads and predictions
When is it? Thursday November 29th
What time is kick off? 8:20 p.m. ET
Where is it being played? AT&T Stadium
Which channel is it on? FOX/NFL Network
Another week, another New Orleans Saints win.
Saints quarterback Drew Brees threw four touchdown scores in last week's 31-17 win over the Atlanta Falcons. All of those receivers who caught the touchdowns - Dan Arnold, Tommy Lee Lewis, Austin Carr and Keith Kirkwood - are undrafted free agents.
Brees and company are rolling, and on Thursday night they will shift their attention towards the Dallas Cowboys and their defense.
The Cowboys are allowing 237.5 passing yards per game this season, and they are allowing opponents to complete 69.1 percent of their passes, which is ranked 28th in the NFL.
On the other hand, Brees and the Saints are number one in the league with a 75.7 completion percentage.
Since the Cowboys traded for wide receiver Amari Cooper, their offense has been rolling.
Cooper was everything and more for Dallas in last week's 31-23 Thanksgiving Day win over the Washington Redskins at home. Cooper came away with eight receptions for 180 receiving yards and two touchdowns in the big win.
Running back Ezekiel Elliott had 26 carries for 121 yards and a touchdown as well.
Since Cooper's arrival, Dallas is averaging 379 total yards over its last three games, which is much higher than its season average of 334 yards per game.
The Cowboys are also averaging 26.7 points over their last three games, which is significantly higher than their 21.3 average for the season.
Saints vs Cowboys Spread
The Saints are giving the Dallas Cowboys 7.5 points in this matchup.
It's hard to say who is ultimately going to win this game, but I do like the Cowboys getting the 7.5 points in this one.
I believe the Cowboys will continue to run the ball with Ezekiel Elliott and they will do their best to keep Drew Brees and the Saints offense off the field.
Hey, if they aren't on the field, they can't score points, right?
Saints vs Cowboys Over/Under
The over/under is set at 52 total points.
My final score prediction: New Orleans Saints 31, Dallas Cowboys 28.
Roll with the over in this matchup.
Saints vs Cowboys Moneyline
If you're thinking about rolling with the Saints, you'd have to put out $360 to win a $100 bet.
A $100 bet on the Cowboys would get you winnings of $280.
This is a bet I'd stay away from because I honestly believe the Cowboys have a shot to win this football game.
Stick with the Cowboys getting the 7.5 points, but if you feel like taking a risk and putting $100 on the Cowboys to win $280, then roll with that.
Where the game will be won or lost
The New Orleans Saints are obviously on another level right now.
After losing the first game of the season at home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Saints have won 10 games in a row and they will look for win number 11 on Thursday night against the Cowboys.
This may be one of New Orleans' toughest matchups to date.
I believe the Cowboys have the formula to come away with the win at home over the Saints. If the Cowboys can establish the running game with Elliott, I believe quarterback Dak Prescott and the rest of the offense will make enough plays to ultimately have a chance to come away with the win.
Elliott is leading the NFL in rushing with 1,074 yards this season. If the Cowboys want to continue to be successful moving forward, they will keeping feeding their All-Pro running back because he is clearly the most valuable piece on their offense.
Look for Elliott and the offensive line to be the difference maker in this matchup.
